Thanks to the diversity of flora is very rich in fauna: home to 305 species of animals, representing 36% of all fauna of Kazakhstan, and 40% of them live here on the borders of their habitats, 13 species listed in the RED BOOK.Within the protected zones of the National Park prohibited any economic activity,recreational use and the mode corresponding to the of nature reserves.
Vegetation in the Park is represented by forest,steppe,meadow,marsh and saline types,the flora totals about 800 kinds of plants.
Highest point of the area is Kokshetau mountain(Blue mountian).South mountain is situated Burabai (690m) is an excellent panoramic point.Further South more are situated Shuchinsk mounds,the biggest of which is called Zheke-Batur a lonesome fighter(826m).
Mountain treasures around Burabai reveal unexpected secrets. Among these picturesque rock OK - Zhetpes (translated as “arrow unavailable”),the top of which resembles a baby elephant.
The rock Zhumbaktas (translated as “Stone of mystery”) is reminiscent of the mysterious Sphinx, it’s interesting because if you look at it from different angles , you can see the girl’s face with flowing hair , then women , and finally old women.
