MUFFINS
Muffin is a typical English dessert. There are two types of muffins^ English and American.
Muffins are small cakes. It is a variant of corn bread.
The grand-grandfather of today’s muffins was not so sweet and there weren’t so many varieties.
It was quickly and simply to cook muffins, that’s why the English people began to prepare them for breakfast. They had not so many recipes at that time. They used corn, wheat or oats and some additional ingredients (raisins, apples, nuts). Today there is also a special mixture for the cooking muffins. Additional ingredients such as candied fruits or nuts give aroma and specific taste.
In the UK there are some cafes which offer different types of muffins. Muffins are popular in Australian and in New Zealand.
What do you need to cook muffins?
2 eggs
1 tin condensed milk (not boiled)
4 tbsp heated flour
1tsp baking powder
100g sour cream
Mix flour and baking powder. Add eggs, condensed milk, sour cream and mix all ingredients very well. Wait 10 minutes and pour into silicone forms. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Bon appetit!!!
