Discuss the questions with the class, making notes as the students suggest ideas.
IV Realization of meaning
Emphasise that in this reading activity there are three different stories. The stories have got one thing in common. What is it?
Ask them to complete story 1, and then work out the sequence of the other two stories.
Strategy: finding the stories
Play the recording. Checking their vocabulary Students have to work out which paragraph belongs to which story, to make three separate narratives.
They work in pairs, compare and discuss their answers with a partner.
Read and answer the questions.
