One day Dorothy was playing outside with her dog, when her uncle saw tornado coming. Everyone went to the basement but Toto got scared and hid under the bed. Meanwhile, Dorothy was trying to get Toto out from under the bed tornado gripped the house. Suddenly, the house started to shake. Dorothy fell down to the floor, and Toto jumped into her arms. The house started to spin a few times, and to raise slowly into the air like a balloon, and they were taken miles and miles away from their home. After a few hours, the house stopped spinning. When she went outside she was astonished…

DOROTHY: Toto, I have a filling we’re not in Kansas anymore. Oh, this place is so beautiful! We must be over the rainbow!
NORTH WITCH: Welcome to our country. We want to thank you for destroying the Evil Witch. Are you a good witch or a bad witch?
DOROTHY: I’m Dorothy Gale from Kansas. I’m not a witch at all and I haven’t destroyed anybody.
WOMAN : Well, your house did. Look over there!

DOROTHY: Oh no! What can we do?
NORTH WITCH: There’s nothing we can do.
DOROTHY: But, who was she?
MAN : She was the East Evil Witch. She kept as prisoners the people from this city. We were her slaves day and night, and now we are free.
WOMAN: We thank you very sweetly for doing it so neatly. You’ve killed her so completely that we thank you very sweetly.
DOROTHY: And who are you?
NORTH WITCH: I am the North Witch.
DOROTHY: Are you a real witch?
NORTH WITCH: Of course. I am a good witch, but I am not as powerful as the Evil Witch was.
WOMAN : Look over there?.
MAN : Her feet are gone!.
WOMAN : She left only her red shoes.
NORTH WITCH: She was so old that her feet dried with the sun. The shoes are yours, you can use them.
DOROTHY: I want to go home. Can you show me the way to Kansas?.NORTH WITCH: oh, my dear. I can’t help you. There are great deserts and nobody dares to cross them

NARRATOR: Suddenly, the Witch of the West appeared, and said to Dorothy.

WITCH OF THE WEST: My sister! Who killed my sister? Who killed the Witch of the East? Is it you? What have you done? You destroyed my sister!.DOROTHY: No, it was an accident. I didn’t mean to kill anybody.
WITCH OF THE WEST: well, my little pretty. I can cause an accident too.
NORTH WITCH: Get away from her! You can´t harm her! Aren’t you forget Ruby’s shoes?
WITCH OF THE WEST: oh, red shoes! They’ve gone. What have you done with them? I want my sister’s shoes! Give them to me!
NORTH WITCH: It’s too late. Now they belong to her! Go away!
WITCH OF THE WEST: Give me back my shoes. I’m the only one who knows how to use them. Give them back to me!
NORTH WITCH: (to Dorothy) keep tight inside of them. Their magic must be very powerful or she wouldn’t want them so badly. Go away before somebody drops a house on you too! You have no power!
WITCH OF THE WEST: Well my little pretty… I'll bide my time. I will leave, but I’ll find you later, I promise! Ha, ha, ha, ha! And I’ll kill you, I’ll destroy you!

NARRATOR: And the Witch of the West disappeared.

NORTH WITCH: You must go to Emerald City. The Wizard of Oz might help you
DOROTHY: Where is that city?
NORTH WITCH: It’s in the middle of the country. The Wizard of Oz rules the city.
DOROTHY: Is he a good man?
NORTH WITCH: He’s a good wizard, but I have never seen him.
DOROTHY: How can I get to that city? I don’t know the way.
NORTH WITCH: Just follow the yellow brick road.
DOROTHY: Are you coming with me?
NORTH WITCH: Oh, my dear…No, I can’t. When you get to Oz, tell him your story and ask for help. I’m sure he will help you.
NARRATOR: And the Good Witch disappeared.
DOROTHY: Oh, she’s gone. People come and go so quickly here. Toto, we have to go. But I have forgotten the way.
WOMAN: Follow the yellow brick road.
MAN : Follow the yellow brick road.

NARRATOR: And Dorothy and Toto started walking through the yellow brick road. After a while they heard someone talking.

SCARECROW: I need a brain! I’m so stupid. I need a brain!
DOROTHY: Did you hear that, Toto?. Who is talking?
SCARECROW: It´s me. Look this way.
DOROTHY: Did you say that you need a brain?. SCARECROW: Yes, I only have straw in my head.
DOROTHY: And, how can you talk?
SCARECROW: I don’t know. But some people without brain do a lot of talking, don’t they?
DOROTHY: May be you’re right.
SCARECROW: Please, help me. Just pull out this stick.
DOROTHY: And what would you do with the brain if you had one?

SCARECROW: Do? If I had a brain I could…
I could while away the hours
Conferring with the flowers
Consulting with the rain
And my head I'd be scratching
While my thoughts were busy hatching
If I only had a brain.I'd unravel every riddle,
For every individual
In trouble or in pain. With the thoughts I'd be thinking,
I could be another Lincoln,
If I only had a brain.Oh I could tell you why,
The ocean's near the shore.
I think of things I never thought before,
And then I'd sit-- and think some more.
I would not be just a nothing,
My head all full of stuffing,
My heart all full of pain.I would dance and by merry,
Life would be a dingle Derry,
If I only had a brain.(Jackson Browne - If I Only Had A Brain )DOROTHY: Well, I guess you right. Unfortunately I cannot get you a brain, but if you come with me to visit the Wizard of Oz, I am sure he will give you a brain.
SCARECROW: I will go with you.

NARRATOR: So Dorothy, Toto and the Scarecrow kept walking. After a while they saw a Tin Man beside the road.

TIN MAN: Oil can! oil can!.
DOROTHY: did you say “Oil can”?
SCARECROW: Me? No. I think he´s trying to say that he wants some oil.
DOROTHY: Look, there´s an oil can in the floor. Maybe that’s what he wants.
SCARECROW: Where do you want me to put the oil?.TIN MAN: In my chin. In my chin.SCARECROW: Here, I´ll put some drops in your chin.
TIN MAN: Oh now I can talk again!. But I need some in my arms and elbows, too.
SCARECROW: Let me put some in your arms.
TIN MAN: I also need oil in my legs and in my feet.
DOROTHY: Let me put some, too.
TIN MAN: Perfect! Now I can talk and move again.
DOROTHY: now you are perfect!
TIN MAN: Perfect? Bang on my chest to get think I’m perfect. Go ahead!
It’s empty. The tinman forgot to give me a heart. Now my problem is that I don’t have a heart.
DOROTHY: You don’t have a heart?
TIN MAN: No, I want a heart. I want to feel emotions. I want to know what love is…
When a man's an empty kettle he should be on his mettle,
And yet I'm torn apart.
Just because I'm presuming that I could be kind-a-human,
If I only had heart.I'd be tender - I'd be gentle and awful sentimental
Regarding Love and Art.I'd be friends with the sparrows ...And the boys who shoots the arrows
If I only had a heart.Picture me - a balcony. Above a voice sings low.Wherefore art thou, Romeo? I hear a beat....
How sweet.
Just to register emotion, jealousy - devotion,
And really feel the part.
I could stay young and chipper
And I'd lock it with a zipper,
If I only had a heart.DOROTHY: Well, come with us then. We are going to see the Wizard of Oz, I’m sure he will help us!
TIN MAN: Ok. I’ll go with you.
NARRATOR: And Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow and the Tin Man continued their journey through the yellow brick road.
Thank you for listening and watching.
