Snow leopards are in danger It lives in the mountains in Central Asia. The weather here is really cold and frosty, but snow leopards like it. In summer they usually stay in the mountains, but in winter they go to the forests. Some people say that snow leopards are not dangerous for people, but we don`t know exactly about it. Snow leopards have long thick fur. It is usually grey but sometimes brown with small black spots on the head and big spots on legs and a tail. They have a very long tail nearly 75 centimeters long. HuntingSnow leopards like to eat meat so they hunt different animals, for example, wild goats, sheep, hears, deer and sometimes birds.It is very unusual but snow leopards can eat grass and twigs. Why are snow leopards in danger?People kill snow leopards for their beautiful skin, bones and organs. Their beautiful skins are very expensive and their bones and organs are valuable in Asia medicine. Hunters killed wild goats, sheep and deer and hears so there is no food for snow leopards.
