Тема: Our Hobbies.Формируемые компетенции:

Тип урока: комбинированный.
Цели урока:
– формирование коммуникативных компетенций по теме “How do you spend your free time? Hobbies”;– развитие познавательных интересов учащихся, умения социального общения в совместной деятельности;– формирование творческого мышления учащихся, умения обосновывать свою точку зрения.
Задачи урока:
– учебная: формировать навыки и умения в аудировании, чтении, устной речи (диалогическая, монологическая формы) по материалам темы “How do you spend your free time?” с использованием лексического материала.
– познавательная: продолжить ознакомление учащихся с увлечениями в Великобритании, в России;
– развивающая: развивать интерес к учебно-познавательной деятельности на иностранном языке, развивать логику, внимание, память, целостность высказывания;
– воспитательная: формирование уважительного отношения к увлечениям других людей, к мнению другого человека.
 Материально-техническое оснащение урока:
1. Раздаточный материал:– карточки для контроля чтения;– карточки с диалогами
2. Презентация на тему «Hobby».3. Проекты учащихся по теме “My hobby”.
4. Презентация на тему «Unusual hobbies»Формы работы: индивидуальная, фронтальная, парная, групповая.
Методы: репродуктивный, продуктивный, частично – поисковый, проектный.
Приемы: иллюстративная наглядность, видеофильм (отрывок), работа с карточками, текстами, инсценировка, презентация по теме “ Our Hobbies”. Структура урока:
1. Организационный момент. Целевая установка на урок.2. Актуализация лексического материала. (Практика устной речи учащихся по теме “How do you spend your free time? Hobbies”)3. Формирование новых ЗУНа) Чтение с полным пониманием прочитанного и выполнение упражнений к текстуб) Представление проектов детей

ХОД УРОКА
1.
Teacher: Good morning, children! Take your seats, please, and get ready for the lesson. It’s very nice to see you. How are you today? What day is it today? What date is it today?
Students: We are OK. Thank you. Today it is Friday. Today it is the 13th of February.
Teacher: At the beginning of our lesson I’m going to say «Twice happy is the man who has a hobby…» (on the board). Do you agree with it or not? Why? So as you know now today we are going to talk about Hobby.
Students: : студенты соглашаются с пословицей либо не соглашаются и обосновывают свое мнение.

Teacher: Today we will speak about our hobbies and free time. (Слайд 1)

Types of activity-виды деятельности, leisure time-свободное время, to choose-выбирать, relaxation-удовольствие, development-развитие, to divide into-подразделяться, handicraft-рукоделие, possibilities-возможности, to include-включать в себя, skillfully-мастерски, ловко, engaged-заинтересованный, needlework-шитье, вышивание, crocheting-вязание крючком, competition-соревнование.Hobby can be any types of activity, which people do during their leisure time. Many people choose a hobby for relaxation, pleasure, or for development of new interest. Most hobbies divided into 4 general categories. They are the arts, collecting, handicrafts, games, and sports. There are such art forms as dancing, painting, theatre, graphic arts, and music. Each art form has many possibilities for a hobby. For example music can include singing, playing an instrument, collecting CD’s. Painting offers the people a wide choice of materials, such as oil paints or watercolors. Collecting is probably the most widespread kind of hobby, because almost anything can be collected. Stamps and coins were very popular 90’s. People also collect rich things as autographs, books, dolls, tickets. Handicrafts attract people who can work skillfully with their hands. Many y them are engaged in needlework activities, crocheting, knitting and sewing. Some use kits to make modal airplanes, boats and cars. Games and sports are popular with many people, who enjoy competition, physical activity and exercise. Thousands of people take part in sport, such as bowling, fishing, mountain climbing, skiing, and tennis. Popular indoor games include card games, chess. Nowadays, electronic related hobbies become popular. Many people especially children play computer games.

KITE-FLYING
Kite-flying is an old hobby in England. Many years ago people in London liked kite-flying. In our days young men and old men, women and children take their kites to the parks and threw them up into the sky. The kites are of many colours. Some of them are square and others have three corners. Some kites are like boxes, some look like balls or flowers. Many people, and children too, make their kites themselves. They make kites of paper, and fix bright ribbons to them. Some people buy their kites in the shops.
In some countries kite-flying is a sport. People have competitions in kite-flying.

No, I’m not. Besides there is an interesting film on TV in the afternoon. I get pleasure from watching old comedies.
As for me I prefer playing sport to watching TV. Playing football or tennis is a change from school, isn’t it?

Dialogue 2
(Mary is speaking by telephone)
– Bob? This is Mary. How are you?
– Fine. And you?– Fine too. What are you doing?
– I’m listening to music. It’s really relaxing. In my leisure time I enjoy listening to rock music. Do you like rock music?
– I like music, but I don’t like rock. I get pleasure from growing flowers. I’m so amused by this hobby. There are many beautiful flowers in our house.
– Do you have any orchids in your collection?
– Yes, there are some orchids, they are nice. Would you like to see my flower collection?
– That’s a good idea. Thank you.

Such people like to visit different cities, towns and historical places. Some people even visit other countries. They can travel by car, by plane, by train, by bus or on foot. This hobby helps them to learn history, geography and traditions of different people and countries.

People like to spend their free time near the rivers or lakes . They often go there with their friends or relatives . They can have a picnic there. They go usually there in summer but some people like to go there in winter too . Also they can boil fish broth ( soup ) after going there.
-Pupil 1:FishingThis hobby is interesting and useful. People try to find or buy different things such as stamps, badges, coins, pictures and dolls. Their collection can be thematic. This hobby helps people to make new friends and to learn some new things about countries and lands, animals and birds, famous people and historical events.

This hobby is popular with the people of all ages. People like to go to the stadium or to the sports ground. They are strong and healthy. Their hobby helps to develop their mind and body and teaches them to plan their time.
-Pupil 2: Sports
People like to go to the library. Some of them have a good collection of books at home. And they are really proud of it. They can have different books: fiction, historical novels, books about animals and birds, books about different countries. Their hobby helps them to relax, to learn the world and understand people better.
