PRESENTATION IS MADE BY THE TEACHER OF ENGLISH VOSTRILOVA REZIDA FARITOVNA SCHOOL 599 SAINT-PETERSBURG NEVER GIVE UP! Sergey Aleksandrov was born in Saint-Petersburg on the 3rd of January in 1982. From his childhood he has been interested in adventure sport. Sport is not only health but an inexhaustible source of strength for him. Sergey was graduated from Russian state pedagogical University on a speciality the teacher of Geography. He spent a lot of free time coached children tourism. In 2009 Russian mountaineer set out to climb Elbrus, but he slipped,fell…Sergey got a lot of fractures, frostbite of his legs. As a result, a bold young man lost both legs. Most people would have very depressed after such a tragedy, but this sportsmen amazed everyone. Sergey’s determination stopped him from giving up. It took him1,5 years to rehabilitate after those terrible injuries. He carried on training on wooden , then dynamic prosthesis. Sergey Aleksandrov became a broze winner of Saint-Petersburg on powerlifting among disable people in 2011.He is also twice champion of mountain skiing in Saint-Petersburg.In 2012 he started coaching athletics.Sergey Aleksandrov hoped to take part at mountain skiing at the Olimpic games in Sochi in 2014, but he had’t got enough points for taking part in this competitions. Sergey is also a great photographer according his achievements in this field. Last years a photography has become the main source of income and inspiration.This man found himself facing extremely difficult challenges- but he refused to give up…Sergey’s positive attitude is amazing.
