Today is the 8th of February. It’s Saturday.
There are 4 seasons. They are spring, winter, summer, autumn.
Process

Let’s read the poem all together.
When the weather is wet
We mustn’t storm
But be thankful together
What ever the weather
We mustn’t fret
When the weather is cold
We mustn’t scold
When the weather is warm.
It’s easy: find the rhyme:
Wet – fret
Cold – scold
Warm – storm

- What will we talk about?
You are right, we will talk about the weather, repeat some words about the weather, do grammar tasks and speak about the weather in different seasons.
- At first, listen the poems about the seasons. Thank you.
- How do you know words about seasons and weather? Now I’ll see.
-Find the words about the weather and translate.
- Match the nouns “day – climate” with the suitable adjective
- We say ‘changeable climate’ when we speak about England. Englishmen have many proverbs about weather
Match English and Russian proverbs
- Let’s sing a song about the weather. Be active. Look at your desk. There are many symbols of the weather on it. When you hear about this symbol of the weather, you will hand up it. OK. Is it clear? Учащихся определяют тему урока:
- About the weather, about seasons.
Pupils tell the poems about the seasons.
- Учащиеся находят на экране слова snow - снег, wind - ветер, fog - туман, cloud …
- Учащиеся соединяют слова в словосочетания:
- mild climate(мягкий климат), dry climate (сухой климат), changeable climate(изменчивый климат), sunny day (солнечный день), cool day (прохладный день), dull day(пасмурный день)
- Учащиеся подбирают русские аналоги к английским поговоркам
Учащиеся поднимают символы погоды, когда слышат в песне об этом символе.

- Look at the active board and read about different seasons. Complete the text. (слайды “весна”, “лето”, “осень”, “зима”) (Каждый слайд сопровождается музыкой П.И.Чайковского из альбома “Времена года”) Who wants to read? And what can we do in such weather? Do you like this season? Can you play hockey in summer? What can you do in …?
- Let’s rest a little. Stand up. “Head and shoulders” Sing all together and do exercises cheerfully. - Учащиеся участвуют в обсуждении сегодняшней погоды
- Ученики отгадывают, какое время года описывается
Слайд подсказывает и учащиеся проверяют свои догадки
Учащиеся рассказывают о весне, лете, осени, зиме и отвечает на вопросы.
Учащиеся делают разминку все вместе.

Do ex. 8 p. 146
What’s the weather like today in Rome? It’s cloudy, 10 degrees above zero in Rome. etc.
Speaking

The dialogues are mixed. Collect them. Who are ready? Speakers, please. Everybody listen our pupils.

- Create a dialogue. Put the sentences in the correct order (1-6). Listen and check the order. Then read the dialogue with a classmate. Учащиеся по таблице составляют предложения с различными градусами и показаниями погоды.
Учащиеся могут быть оценены- смайлики с улыбкой, если «отлично» и смайлики с нейтральной улыбкой- «хорошо»
Учащиеся расставляют правильно предложения диалога после аудио-прослушивания, затекм читают в группах.

Рефлексия Подведение итогов с использованием приема “синквейн”. At last look at the picture and answer the questions

Don’t forget write it on the list, draw the small pictures to your cinquain. Группы вытягивают слова-синквейн. Сочиняют 5 пунктов-синквейн, рисуют элементы к синквейну и спикер зачитывает его вслух.
Homework
Домашняя работа Say what you can do in different weather. Use the words from the box.
Example: When it’s cold, I can watch TV at home.
Ex. 14 p 149 Watch TV or read a newspaper. Write down the temperature of Kazakhstan cities and towns.
Thank you for the lesson. You were active and sometimes funny. We talked about the weather very much and repeated some words about it, did grammar tasks. Remember! The nature has not a bad weather.
