Тема: Rules around us.
Цели:
Социокультурный аспект – знакомство с правилами, существующими в британской школе и данной школе, понятиями и реалиями;
Развивающий аспект – развитие способности к перефразированию, формулированию выводов;
Воспитательный аспект – формирование осознания своей культуры через культуру Великобритании, развитие умения сотрудничать, воспитание любви к Родине и родной школе, воспитание потребности в полезном времяпровождении;
Учебный аспект – формирование грамматических навыков говорения;
сопутствующая задача: развитие умения понимать на слух с целью извлечения конкретной информации; совершенствование лексических навыков говорения.
Речевой материал:
продуктивный: лексический – а uniform, to care about, a rule
грамматический – новый модальный глагол have to;
для повторения: модальные глаголы should, must.
Рецептивный: лексический – a blouse, chores, f reason, a skirt, a tie, to argue, to deal with, discipline, strict.
Оборудование: слайды, карточки с заданиями.

Teacher: Clare has received a letter from her pen friend, Ann. Listen to it and answer the question.

Dear Clare, you asked me about the rules in Earlham High School. Our school uniform is boring. I have to wear a white or blue blouse and a blue skirt. And my brother has to wear a school tie. He hates it. Girls don’t have to wear ties. Besides, we have to bring swimming costumes for PI lessons.
I like jeans, but we mustn’t wear jeans at school. I think it’s not fair. Do you have to wear a school uniform? What’s it like?
