Открытый урок английского языка из цикла "Our favourite celebrations” ,Тема урока «Travelling to Hawaii» 5 Класс
Урок разработала: учитель английского языка Габова Анастасия Владимировна
Данный урок разработан на основе ФГОС второго поколения, Примерной программы по иностранным языкам 5-9 классы. Урок разработан на основании темы раздела № 5 “ My favourite celebrations ” УМК «Английский язык» (5–9 классы) автор В. П. Кузовлев. Урок рассчитан на учащихся 5-х классов четвертый год обучения. Данный урок способствует расширению кругозора учащихся, формированию толерантного отношения к культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка, более глубокого осознания своей родной культуры. Урок направлен на знакомство с праздниками, популярными в Великобритании, США и на Гавайях; развитие умения понимать систему ценностей, связанных с празднованиями, умение представлять инокультуру, умение передавать реалии на английском языке.
Цель урока: обобщение знаний о праздниках, популярных в Великобритании и США и ознакомление с традициями, связанных с празднованием одного из главных праздников Гавайев - Дня Лей (день цветочных гирлянд) на основе полученных знаний, умений и навыков.
Задачи урока:
•развитие способностей к догадке (по контексту), анализу, сравнению, развитие произвольного внимания и творческого мышления;
•развитие умение ориентироваться в обычаях и традициях, связанных с праздниками в Великобритании, США и других странах;
•формирование грамматических навыков чтения, говорения, письма и аудирования.
Ожидаемые результаты. В результате урока учащиеся смогут:
•актуализировать лексический материал по теме « Наши любимые праздники»;
•опираясь на усвоенный лексико-грамматический материал выражать свое мнение, аргументировать и систематизировать знания по теме;
Применять полученные знания в новой схожей ситуации;
•составить рассказ о своём любимом празднике.
Материалы (ресурсное оснащение урока):
компьютер, презентация к уроку, атрибуты праздника, карточки с заданиями, цветочные гирлянды.

Today we have a revision- lesson. On the next lesson will be a test of the Unite 5.So today we shall repeat the most famous holidays and traditions of Great Britain and the USA and I we should learn what the main holiday in Hawaii is. So the lesson is called « Travelling to Hawaii». At the end of lesson you will complete the small story about this holiday. (on the blackboard on the right side) (Сегодня у нас урок - повторение. Мы поговорим о праздниках и традициях США и Великобритании, а также совершим путешествие на Гавайи ,узнаем какой самый популярный праздник на Гавайях. Поэтому наш урок называется «Путешествие на Гавайи». В конце урока вы должны будете составить небольшой рассказ об этом празднике, предложения этого рассказа вы видите на доске):

We also shall revise lexical and grammar structures Past Simple and Past Progressive. I hope that it will be interesting for you during our lesson. You have divided into two teams and chosen captains-Sasha and Artyom. Working in groups, pairs or individually, each team will get scores (on the blackboard on the right side) I will put an isle when you complete every task. I hope we will be ready for the test. (Мы также повторим лексический и грамматический материал простое прошедшее и прошедшее длительное времена. Вы разделились на две команды и выбрали капитанов – Саша и Артём. За каждое правильно выполненное задание вы получите очки (очки подсчитывает жюри и выставляет на доске). По мере выполнения заданий, я на середину доски буду прикреплять острова Гавайев Гавайи или Большой,остров, Кауаи ,Кахоолаве, Ланаи ,Мау, Молокаи , Ниихау ,Оаху ).

II. Актуализация знаний учащихся по теме (Фронтальная работа) -3 минуты. Teacher: You know that people like to celebrate holidays all over the world. Nowadays different people celebrate different holidays .What traditional and national holidays in England and in the USA do you know? What holidays do you like best of all?( Какие праздники в Англии и США вы знаете?Какой ваш самый любимый праздник?)

Today we learn about Hawaii and its one main holiday. Now listen to the stories about Hawaii in Russian and do the girls` tasks: choose the attributes or photos according to the story. The girls will check the answers. (Участницы каждой команды Виолетта Култышева и Даша Бродина представляют рассказы о Гавайях на русском языке по очереди, после прослушивания дети выбирают из разных атрибутов или фото соответствующих рассказу, девочки проверяют ответы по списку у противоположной команды) .

Now I will tell you about the Hawaiian celebration number one. You listen to the text twice and complete the task on the shits of paper - to choose the right variant. You will have 3 minutes to work (Дети прослушивают текст о празднике День Леи и выполняют задание на карточках, капитаны команд представляют ответы по очереди, зачитывают предложения).

The number one holiday in Hawaii is Lei Day. It is official holiday since 1929. People celebrate this day on the 1 of May every year. They make garlands from paper or alive flowers and hang them to guests` neck as a present when meet them. The garlands are called leis. The Hawaiians like to dance best of all. The traditional dance is Hula. The Hawaiian songs are very unusual and funny. People wear colorful clothes and hang leis on the neck this day.

And the last task- to check your homework. The girl Melanie and her friends visited Hawaii last year. She wrote a letter to her Russian pen friend about the Hawaiian party on Lei Day. At home you completed the sentences with the right verbs in Past Simple or Past Progressive and complete the questions. Now captains of each team will get two numbers of questions from the musical box and you will answer the completed questions.(Домашнее задание: Капитаны получают номера двух вопросов и зачитывают их по очереди друг другу, противник отвечает на вопрос)
