The film was inspired by the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My life with Stephen by Jane Wilde Hawking, which deals with her relationship with her ex-husband, theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, his diagnosis of motor neuron disease, and his success in physics.
The story and cast were filmed:The story of the physicist Stephen Hawking and Jane Wilde, the literature student he fell in love with whilst studying at Cambridg in the 1960s.In the leading roles- Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking and Felicity Jones as Jane (Wilde) Hawking.The film received mostly positive reviews (including from " Guardian" and " York Post").
