Тема «When Christmas comes…»
«Когда приходит Рождество…»
Цель: коммуникативно - речевое развитие учащихся через сообщение знаний о традициях празднования Рождества в Великобритании.
Задачи:
Речевая компетенция: развивать произносительные навыки диалогической речи, навыки аудирования и чтения с полным пониманием и письма.
Языковая компетенция: доводить до автоматизации употребление в речи лексических единиц по теме «Christmas».
Социокультурная компетенция: познакомить с традициями празднования Рождества в Великобритании.
Компенсаторная компетенция: развивать языковые догадки и воображения, творческое мышление, память.
Учебно-познавательная компетенция: развивать навыки работы с текстом, умение выделять основную информацию из прослушанного и прочитанного об основных рождественских традициях в Великобритании.
Познавательный аспект: познакомить учащихся с традициями и культурой страны изучаемого языка на основе праздника Christmas.
Развивающий аспект: развивать психические функции, связанных с речевой деятельностью (внимание, способность к анализу и синтезу, логическое мышление, способность к выявлению языковых закономерностей, языковая догадка, зрительная и слуховая память, фонематический слух).
Учебный аспект: овладевать всеми видами речевой деятельности: говорением, аудированием, чтением и письмом.
Воспитательный аспект: повышать интерес к изучению английского языка, воспитывать культуру языкового общения, уважительного отношения друг к другу, умение внимательно слушать собеседника.
Языковой материал: слова, речевые образцы, монологические и диалогические высказывания по теме «Christmas».
Оборудование: презентация, мультимедиа, индивидуальные карточки, песня, конверты с заданиями, заранее спрятанные по классу, маски, костюмы для спектакля.
Тип урока: урок общеметодологической направленности.

Ход урока.
I.Организационный момент
T: Good morning, dear boys and girls. Today we have a special lesson. Do you know what holiday British people celebrate yesterday?
(ответы учеников)
T: Christmas! You are right. The 25th of December is Christmas in Great Britain. And in Russia? When do we celebrate it?
(ответы учеников- The 7th of January)
T: Today we can see what you know about this holiday. First of all, let’s review and learn some new words.
II.Фонетическая зарядка

Look at pictures and repeat after me, рlease.
What is it? Give Russian equivalent for it, рlease.
III.Речевая разминка
T: Well done. Now let’s find out how you know them. Choose the correct answer.

Королевский дворец.
За столом сидит принцесса. /Звучит музыка/
Narrator : Once upon a time there lived a little princess. Her name was Emily. She was lazy. She didn’t like reading and going to school. And she didn’t like to do her homework. She had a mother, and a father…
Выходят король и королева.
King: Good afternoon, my child!
Princess: Hi, Daddy.
Queen: Good afternoon, dear!
Princess: Hi, Mum.
King: How are you today?
Princess: Terrible!
Queen: Oh, why?
Princess: I don’t want to clean my teeth! I don’t want to drink this milk and eat these cakes! I don’t want to go to school!
Queen: And what do you want?
Princess: I want to get my Christmas presents right now!
King: What presents do you want to get?
Princess: New dress, dolls, and cars, and…
King: But you have got many dolls!
Queen: And cars!
King: And toys!
Princess: Sweets, a dog, a cat… Here you are, father! (Принцесса отдает Королю огромный список подарков.) /Звучит музыка/
Король, Королева уходят. Появляется Снежная Королева, скрытая плащом.
Snow Queen: Dear girl, could you help me?
Princess: Who are you? I don’t know you. Why must I help you?
Snow Queen: I am only an old woman. I’m hungry. Could you give me some food, please?
Princess: Go away. I’m busy. I am doing my homework.
Snow Queen: OK. I am going away. (Собирается уходить.) But…/звучит музыка/
Снежная Королева достает волшебную палочку, взмахивает ей.
Snow Queen: I’m the Snow Queen!
The snow is falling,
The wind is blowing,
The ground is white
All day and all night!
Snow Queen: Emily, you are a bad girl, and that’s why all of you (обводит всех волшебной палочкой) will never meet Santa Claus and Christmas! Never! Never!
Снежная Королева удаляется. Принцесса начинает плакать.
Princess: How can we live without Santa Claus and Christmas? And without presents?
T: Oh, poor princess! Don’t cry. I know what to do. Children, can you help Emily to save Christmas. You’ll work together. If we decorate Christmas tree, Santa Claus will come to us. Are you ready?
