Central Asia consists of the former Soviet republics of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan.
About percent of region consists of desert land, the principal deserts being the Karakum, occupying most of Turkmenistan, and the Kyzylkum, covering much of western Uzbekistan.
Central Asia is one of the most land locked regions on earth. Today we’ll visit Central Asia along The Great Silk Road.
