Nature of Sharypovsky districtGeographical position, places of interest The district is located in the south-western part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and has convenient transport links (rail, road and air).In the North-West it borders with Kemerovskaya oblast, in the southwest – with the Republic of Khakassia, in the East – with Uzhur and Nazarovo areas, in the North – Bogotol area, Krasnoyarsk territory It was formed in 1940. On the territory there are 40 settlements. The economy of the region is represented mainly by agriculture. In the South you can see low mountains of the Kuznetskiy Alatau. The Northern part of the territory is occupied by the steppe and forest-steppe plain There are 71 kinds of rare plants and herbs : Adonis, lady's slipper, the peony (Marin root), globe flower, whiteLily, Orchis common the only mountain of Krasnoyarsk region, where volcanism is unchallenged. This is a classic volcano (geologists believe it’s dormant), located on the edge of the mountain range. Karatag the rock was a place of worship of the tribes who lived here for almost five thousand years ago. There are a lot of rock drawings on the stone frieze of the sacred mount.Karatag, or “Black Volcano” Nearby the village of Oraki on the shore of the lake there lies Mount Kedrovaia which is famous for its petroglyphs, and an abundance of ancient burial mounds at the foot. This mountain is sacred, it was worshipped by the Khakas people, who lived in the surrounding districts. Sharypovsky District is called the land of blue lakes. Its territory includes 273 lakes. A lot of people from neighboring towns and cities come here to enjoy fantastic landscapes and have a wonderful time. You can find cars from Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Omsk regions, the Republic of Khakassia. LAKE INGOL a unique state natural landmark since 1983.The lake is famous for its healing silt used for treatment diseases, contains silver in water and has a wide variety of fish and birds On the shore there are several recreation centers, a skiing lodge, Ingol tourist base and a summer camp. LAKE LINYOVO is the most popular among the residents of Sharypovo, as it is located just 15 kilometers from our center. It was named in the XIX centurydue to lots of lin. LAKE MALOEIn spite of the title it is the third largest in the area. There are a few tourists here, but you can see a lot of fishermen. LAKE KRUGLOE located in the crater of a long extinct volcano. It is considered one of the wonders of Sharypovsky district. It has an oval shape, but at a certain angle circular really looks like round. The lake’s length is about one kilometer, width is 400 meters. LAKE BOLSHOE Some people call it the Parnoe, named after the village, situated on the other side of the lake. The length is about 15 km. On the shore there are several lodges. Many rivers and streams flow into that lake, and follows only one river. The lake is also called “Bozhie”and famous for its peninsula, looks like a wonder fish It is famous for its clean, clear water where the bottom is seen at a depth of 10 m. The Pond is in the pit, the North shore is hilly, forested by birch, larch, pine.LAKE TSINGOL one of the most beautiful lakes of Krasnoyarsk region and a natural monument of regional significance The storage pond of Berezovskaya State Power Station is also a popular place among sport and amateur fishing.In 2005, 5 km from Berezovsky coal mine archaeologists found the fossils of ancient Stegosaurus, and in 2011 - the remains of Middle Jurassic mammal.
