Конспект урока по теме " Traditions, Holidays, Festivals " 7 класс
Цель: Создать условия для усвоения учебного материала. Создать условия для возможности учащимся использовать ранее полученные знания и жизненный опыт на уроке в новых ситуациях. Введение и первичное закрепление ЛЕ по теме “Traditions, Holidays, Festivals ”.
Задачи урока:
1. Провести практику речевой деятельности, активизировать лексику по теме.
2. Повысить мотивацию учащихся к изучению английского языка
3.Воспитывать у учащихся чувство уважения к истории и культуре изучаемого языка.
4.Продолжить формировать коммутативные навыки и навыки аудирования.
5. Совершенствование произносительных навыков на основе тематической лексики.
Ход урока:
I 1)Оргмомент.
1 – Good morning! Glad to see you. Sit down. Dear friends and guests. Who is on duty today?
(беседа с дежурными)
-Look at the lists and translate the words: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Halloween, St. Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day. And now say me, what are we going to speak about? Today we’ll speak about customs, traditions and holidays.

But first of all answer my questions please
1) When do Americans celebrate Christmas?
2) What holiday do people celebrate on the 14th of February?
3) When do people color eggs?
4) What holiday is one of the best holidays for children? Why?
5) Name the date when English people celebrate Halloween.
6) What is your favorite holiday?

James: Good morning, Nelly. How are you?
Nelly: Hi, James. I'm fine, thank you. And you?
James: I'm also well, thanks..What is your favourite holiday?
Nelly: I like Easter most of all. How about you?
James: Me too, Easter and Christmas .
Nelly: Why do you like to celebrate Easter?
James: It is wonderful tradition to color Easter eggs.
Nelly: Oh, it is really fine.
James: Goodbye! See you soon!
Nelly: Bye

III.Заключительная часть урока.
Thank you for your excellent work. Open your dairies and put your marks down there and write down your homework ex. 3 learn by heart, ex.4 p.113-114. You know a lot about customs and holidays. You can listen to the text and understand it. You can tell about traditions.
