Сценарий проведения фонетического конкурса
по английскому языку
в начальной школе
посвященного католическому РОЖДЕСТВУ .

На сцене –
украшенная Рождественская елка,
декорации: изображения подсвечника с горящими свечами и пылающего камина,
экран для демонстрации слайдов.

Звучит Рождественская мелодия, предпочтительно – «JINGLE BELLS».

На сцену выходят 3 ведущих - старшеклассника.

1-й ведущий: Well, the candles are lit.
2-й ведущий: The Christmas tree is glittering with lights.
3-й ведущий: The fire in the fire-place is burning.
1-й ведущий: It's time to begin the festival.
Вместе: The festival of Christmas.
1-й ведущий: Everyone has a birthday which is celebrated with a light pie and tasty lemonade. But this occasion is something special. It is the Birthday of Jesus, our Savior. He was born on the twenty-fifth of December, more than two thousand years ago. Are you interested in how it happened?

Участники и зрители конкурса отвечают утвердительно.

1-й ведущий: Long, long ago in the town of Nazareth the carpenter Joseph lived. Joseph had a wife, Mary.
2-й ведущий: The God's angel once came to her and said: «You will give birth to a son and give him the name of Jesus. He will be great as He is the Son of God».
3-й ведущий: Wait a minute, can you hear something? I think we are in for a spell of a beautiful Fairy waiting to tell the story musically. It’s the Christmas Fairy!

Фея поёт о том, как родился Иисус Христос. На экране слайды, иллюстрирующие историю (см. приложение №1).


1-й ведущий: Thank You, Sweet Fairy. That was most delightful!
2-й ведущий: We gathered here not just to learn about Christmas but also to test our younger students’ skills in reading English poetry! Some of them have prepared very special poems.
3-й ведущий: Our participants are required to pronounce, to intonate and be as artistic as they can be.
1-й ведущий: Hold on, could somebody, please, first of all, explain what Christmas is?
2-й ведущий: Well, our kids happen to know all about it. Let’s listen to what they have to say!

Номер “CHRISTMAS” (см. приложение №2).
На сцену выходят 9 детей, у каждого в руках лист бумаги для черчения формата А4, на котором с одной стороны - красивый Рождественский рисунок, с другой – одна из букв слова “Christmas”. Выйдя на сцену, дети держат листы на уровне груди сначала рисунками к зрительному залу, а потом, поворачивая листы к зрителям буквами, по очереди называют каждую из них и произносят свою строчку стихотворения. Таким образом, на сцене появляется красиво написанное слово “Christmas”.


Далее следуют выступления конкурсантов.



1-й ведущий: While the jury is taking time to asses our lovely contestants, our festival is going on.
2-й ведущий: In the centre of London at the Trafalgar square stands an enormous green tree, a gift from people of Oslo. In every house there stand evergreen trees, because the evergreen trees are the symbols of eternal life.
3-й ведущий: Under the Christmas tree they put a manger with Baby Christ. The house is decorated with twigs of mistletoe and holy. Holy, because before death Jesus was wearing a garland of holy, and mistletoe, because it is the symbol of love and reconciliation under which a boy may kiss a girl.
1-й ведущий: On Christmas Eve cities and towns are overcrowded, everybody's making preparations. Offices are closed at 1 o'clock, but shops are working. Postmen hurry to deliver millions of Christmas cards, young people in the streetsare singing Christmas songs, collecting money for poor people.
2-й ведущий: But the main event of Christmas is the Christmas dinner with the traditional turkey or goose, pudding and Christmas presents. Christmas is a family event when all are gathering at one table and in schools they act the scenes about Christ’s birth, play games and sing Christmas songs.

3-й ведущий: Can you hear the Bells Jingle?
1-й ведущий: Then it’s time for a Christmas single!
2-й ведущий: Full of Magic are their rings!
3-й ведущий: Harry Potter’s Choir sings!

Хор «Музыкальная карусель» с песней “DOUBLE TROUBLE” (или любые номера художественной самодеятельности, посвященные Рождеству).


1-й ведущий: The time has come to announce the results!
2-й ведущий: We kindly ask the jury to take the floor.

Жюри подводит итоги конкурса, награждает победителей.

1-й ведущий: He sprang into his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.2-й ведущий: But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,Вместе: "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."
