In the novel “Favorite" describes the life of Russia in the second half of the 18 century. Protagonist is a favorite of Catherine the Second Grigori Aleksandrovich Potemkin.This man is complicated and sometimes cruel, but clever, talented. He saw his duty in the service for Russia. The story is set in Veshenskaia. It told about a Cossack family of Melekhov, about its two sons: Gregory and Peter. Gregory loves Aksinya, his married neighbor, but marries Natalie. The romance tells about the Civil war, duty and honor. The action takes place in England. Mr Bingley arrives with his friend Darcy and sisters. Mrs. Benneth and her 5 daughters. The novel shows the relationship between Bingley - Jane and Darcy - Elizabeth. Sisters are clever and good looking. The novel has a lot of humorous situations laughing at foolishness. On Christmas night Marley died, a friend and teammate of Scrooge. Seven years later, on Christmas Eve in Scrooge had a visitor and asked for money for the poor. Scrooge refused. When Scrooge came home the spirit of Marley in chains visited him. The three spirits of Christmas of the past, present and future visited him and this changed his character forever. The novel "Peter I" describes the life of Russia of the seventeenth century, detailing the life of Tsar Peter I. Description begins with the childhood of Peter to victory at Narva. It contains his love, his friendship with Menshikov, his reforms.
