Teacher: There are more than 80 parks in London. The most famous of them are St. James’s Park, Regent’s Park, Hyde Park and others.
Hyde Park is known as national London Park. In 16 century it was the place where Royal family hunted.
Englishmen like to spend their time in the parks, small and large. They always have time to stand and stare.

B) 1. It is one of the oldest and most famous places of London. It has been destroyed. Later it was rebuilt by the greatest architect Wren.

2. It was built in the 11th century. It was a fortress, a palace and a prison. Now it is a museum. Black ravens live near its walls. A person who gives them food is called Raven Master.

3. It is in the centre of London. It’s a square. In the middle of it you can see a column with a famous sailor on the top. He defeated French at the battle in 1805.

4. The big clock on the tower of the palace of Westminster in London is called so. But it is really the bell of the clock. It’s the biggest one. It weighs 13.5 tons.

5. It’s the official residence of the Queen. It was built as a country house for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703. In 1762 it was bought by King George III.
