Halloween is a very popular festivals in both Britain and the USA. It is celebrated on the 31 of October, the eve of All Saints Day. Children dress up as witches, ghosts, vampires, skeletons, mummies and others. In the USA young children play “Trick or Treat” On Halloween. When they dress up in scary Costumes and masks they ring their neihgbours’ doorbells. The neighbours’ usually give them a treat such as sweets, nuts or money. If they don’t the children will play a trick on them. One of the symbols of Halloween are the large pumpkin carved in a scary face. A burning candle is put inside andThe pumpkin are hung on the trees or put by the window.And children know that somebody in the house is waiting for their “Trick or Treat”.
