Тип занятия: урок введения лексического материала по теме: «Describing of Appearance. Character».
Цель: развивать речевые умения и навыки учащихся по теме: «Describing of Appearance. Character»
Задачи:
Образовательная:
способствовать развитию коммуникативных умений и навыков устной речи;
знакомство и семантизация лексического материала по теме: «Describing of Appearance. Character»;
развитие умения понимать иноязычную речь и реагировать на нее.
Развивающая:
создавать условия для развития логического мышления, внимания, памяти;
расширение словарного запаса и кругозора по заданной теме (разница в употреблении вопросов What is she/he like?/ What does she/he look like?).
Воспитательная:
содействовать повышению уровня мотивации, воспитанию культуры общения.
Оборудование: индивидуальный раздаточный материал («Guess the meaning of the proverbs», пошаговый индивидуальный инструктор «Stepper»), отрывок из мультфильма «Beauty and the Beast» (на английском языке).
Plan: I. Greeting:– Good morning, students. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. – How are you? Are you fine? Are you OK? – Let’s begin our lesson. Today we’ll describe people, fairytale characters. You look very nice today. Who do you look like? Do you look like your mother? Have you got a lot of friends? Do you like to read fairy tales? 
II. Warming up activities:
