Elena Isinbaeva- is the Russian athlete. She became the master of sport in Russia. She was born on the 3 rd of June, 1982 in Volgograd. Elena is not married. Elena studied in the Volgograd State Academy of physical training and sport. During her sports career Isinbaeva has established 26 world records. During three years Elena was the winner of the National sports premium in the nomination « Тhe Best sportsman of the year » (2003, 2004, 2005). Elena Isinbaeva collects dolphins and interested in philosophy. She has been recognized as the best athlete of the world and Europe. Sports – is the most important interest in Elena's life. She lives and works in Volgograd. In January, 1998 Elena has gone on the first championship of Russia among girls of the age of 15 years and has won the 2nd place with result of 3,50 m, established the personal record. Elena Isinbaeva has won the Olympic gold medal in Athenes, showed a new world record (4,91 м) in July.22, 2005 at the competitions in London for the first time in a history. In August, 18, 2008 on the Olympic games in Peking she has won a gold medal.
