Задачи урока:
Обучающие:
Тренировать учащихся в употреблении слов по теме «Внешность».
Способствовать прочному усвоению учащимися нового материала.
Развивающие:
Способствовать развитию навыков устной и письменной речи.
Обеспечить условия для развития внимательности, наблюдательности.
Способствовать развитию познавательной активности и воображения.
Способствовать развитию умений творческого подхода к решению практических задач.
Способствовать практическому применению умений и навыков, полученных на уроке.
Воспитательные:
1. Способствовать воспитанию интереса к изучению иностранного языка.
2. Способствовать воспитанию самодисциплины.
3. Способствовать развитию творческого отношения к учебной деятельности.
4. Способствовать развитию культуры взаимоотношений при работе в парах, коллективе.
Методы и приемы: наглядный (демонстрация, наблюдения учащихся), словесный (объяснение, беседа)

I. Организация начала урока:
Приветствие
Good afternoon, dear students. I’m very glad to see you. How are you today?
Let’s begin our lesson.
II. Постановка целей и задач: (слайд №1)
Today we begin the new theme.
The topic of our lesson is “Describing people”.
When we speak about somebody’s figure, face, height we mean his or her appearance. A person may be tall, middle-sized or short, slim or plump. There are many ways to talk about physical appearance. Let’s learn about it!
III. Актуализация знаний
Речевая зарядка (слайды №2-4)
You know that there are many proverbs in Russian, in which we speak about people’s appearance. Englishmen also have many interesting proverbs. Look at the screen, please. Let’s read and try to translate them.
The face is the index of the mind. – Лицо – зеркало мыслей.A good dress is a card of invitation, a good mind is a letter of recommendation. – По одёжке встречают, по уму провожают.Handsome is as handsome does. – О человеке судят не по словам, а по делам.
Введение новых лексических единиц
Учащиеся записывают новые слова и отрабатывают их произношение вместе с учителем. (Работа с презентацией)
