Royal London Royal ParksThere are 8 Royal Parks in London: Hyde Park, St.James’s Park, Kensington Gardens, the Green Park, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park, the Regent’s Park & Primrose Hill and Bushy Park.Millions of Londoners and tourists visit Royal parks for free each year.

Hyde Park Hyde Park is one of London’s finest landscapes and covers 350 acres.Over 7 million people visit it every year .There’s something for everyone from swimming and boating to concerts and exhibitions.


St.James’s ParkIt is the oldest Royal Park in London.It is surrounded by three palaces.It provides fantastic routes for cyclists away from traffic.Picnics in the park are a popular activity especially during the busy summer months.


Kensington GardensKensington Gardens boasts riches of elegant avenues and architecture.The Albert Memorial commemorates the death of Prince Albert in 1861.You can visit here the Italian Gardens, which is a 150-year-old old ornamental water garden and take The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk.


The Green ParkIt is a peaceful park surrounded by Constitution Hill, Piccadilly and the Broad Walk.Green Park is particularly popular for sunbathing and picnics in fine weather. It is also popular as a healthy walking route to work for commuters.The paths are used extensively by joggers and runners.


Greenwich ParkGreenwich Park serves as a habitat for deer, foxes and birds.Greenwich Park made a spectacular venue for Olympic and Paralympic events during the summer of 2012. The venue was universally praised by the media and images of the different competitions were broadcast across the globe.

Richmond ParkRichmond Park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a National Nature Reserve.Richmond Park, originally a deer-hunting park, still has 300 Red Deer and 350 fallow deer. The deer in the park are wild animals.

The Regent’s Park & Primrose Hill.The Open Air Theatre in The Regent’s Park is the only professional, outdoor theatre in Britain.The Regent's Park is the largest grass area for sports in Central London, it also has gardens and a boating lake. Opened in 1847, the London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo. Today it houses over 760 different species of animal and is the only zoo in London where you can experience big animals such as gorillas and giraffes.


Bushy ParkLying to the north of Hampton Court Palace, Bushy Park has its own distinct rural character.Except of cycling and riding a horse you can play rugby and football there. Bushy Park is also the home of the world's oldest hockey clubs, Teddington Hockey Club. Before Christmas you can buy Christmas trees in Bushy Park.
