Even people who say they don't care what they wear choose clothes every morning that says a lot about them and how they feel that day. Nowadays more and more people start thinking about fashion. We usually judge strangers by the clothes they wear, because it is the only thing we know about them. To begin with, your clothes reflect your social status. It goes without saying that if you are a business lady you should be dressed appropriately. If a person is a head of a company, it is preferable for him to wear well- branded clothes. Young people pay great attention to their clothes. Every youth group wear special clothes and decorations. We can easily recognize Goths, Punks or Emus. Fashion is a big business. More people are involved in buying, selling and clothes producing than any other business in the world. Every day, millions of workers design, sew, glue, dye and transport clothing to stores. Ads on buses, billboards and magazines give us ideas about what to wear. Clothing can be used as political weapons. For example, in nineteenth century England laws prohibited people wearing clothes produced in France. One certain thing in the world of fashion is constant changes. Every day we are bombarded with new fashion ideas from music, videos, books, and television. Movies also have a big impact on what people wear. Back in the 1950s, teenagers everywhere dressed like Elvis Presley. All in all, fashion is an inseparable part of our life and everyone should follow it.
