I like the pictures, even though there are not many of them in the book . They helped me to make imagination of the scence of what is happening in the book.I enjoyed this book. It was exicting, even thrilling to read . I love this genre.Most of all I liked Jane Eyre. This character is very patient, she never gives up and she overcomes all difficulties bravely.I think, the book has an important massage. The massage is never to give up, listen to your heart and believe the best. READING DIARY Part 1 (Jane`s childhood)Where and when does the story start? The story starts when Jane is ten years old and her several years of staying at Reed's house after her parents died of typhus. Who are the main characters? The main characters are: Jane Eyre, Sarah Reed, Mr. Brockehurst, Helen Burns, Mrs. Reed, Mr RochesterWhat sort of story is it? It is a novel.What happens in the first part of the story? Mr. Reed (Jane`s uncle) is kind to Jane, but her aunt Sarah Reed doesn`t like her and she discourages, her children to talk to Jane. The nursemaid Bessie is Jane`s friend.One day, her cousin John throws a book at Jane and a fight starts.Jane is put in the Red room, where she faints.Mr. Lloyd, the doctor, examines Jane and he recommends Mrs. Reed that Jane should be sent to school. Mr. Brocklehurst —the director of Lowood school interprets Jane as a«liar».The life at school is very hard for Jane. Part 2 What happens in this part of the story? At Lowood school Jane understands that life is rather complicated and she will have to take the rough with the smooth. She makes friend with Helen Burns, but soon Helen dies of typhus. Part 3Soon supernatural things began to happen.Once she heard some strange sounds from the attic.As it turned out there was fighting between Mr Rochester and Mr Mason,a man from West Indies.Anyway, Jane and Mr. Rochester enjoyed each other`s company. Many things had happend before they had married. Rocherster had lost his hand and eyesight, but Jane still loved him and gave birth to a child. How do you feel about the story? Is it interesting? Do you like the characters?When I was reading «Jane Eyre», I was absolutely captivated by the story, the characters, Jane's childhood as an orphan at Gateshead and Lowood and her position as a governess at Thornfield. The story developes in a way that holds your interest to the plot all the time, from the moment she meets Mr Rochester and the secrets of Thornfield are revealed. This novel is definitely appealing both to readers who like contemporary literature as well as those who prefer a good traditional Victorian novel. This story is not a waste of time. It is certainly worth reading.
