Progress and developmentSarkisova Arevik Modern science has given man a lot of inventions: a refrigerator, a copy machine, a microwave over, a vacuum cleaner, a computer, TV and many others. All there devices save our time, and yet we don’t have enough time for personal communication. That’s why a telephone has become the most irreplaceable thing in our life. In fact people didn’t have a good opportunity to use technological achievements in the past. For example the telephone was invented in 1876. At that time it was not widely used. The telephone communication was available to very few people. There was only one telephone for several settlements. Nowadays it replaces other means of communication. Mobile phones appeared only a few years ago, but now we can’t imagine our life without them. We can make not only phone calls but also and e-mail and SMS with their help which saves us a lot of time. This kind of communication connects people wherever they live and makes our life more comfortable and pleasant.
