The procedure of the lesson
Good afternoon boys and girls. Today we are going to have a competition. Let’s greet our guests, viewers and jury.
First of all, teams should introduce themselves.

There are some sheets with numbers on the blackboard. One participant from each team should listen to the teacher and take the number they hear.
The words on the theme “Sport”. For each right answer the team gets one point.

Ask pupils to think and solve the following riddles. For each solved riddle the team get one point.

My name Aizhan. I have ten. I lives in Astana. I like to swimming, playing computer games in my free time. I go to school every day except sunday. Usually I has five or six lessons. My favourite subject English. My lessons starts at 2 o’clock. I come home in 6 o’clock. I go in bed at 10 o’clock.
The teacher asks pupils to stand up and close their eyes. The teacher sticks the letters on their foreheads. Pupils should stand in order (according to the English alphabet) without speaking. The teams can get 2 points for this task, one for quickness, one for correctness.
The teacher has a sack with some goods. So, the task is to put your hand down in this sack, choose one object and make up the sentence using the construction There is/there are.
(bread, lemon, apple, egg, tea, butter, chocolate, sugar)
Pupils should read the text and draw a picture.
There is a big house in the middle. The roof is red. There are two windows and one door. There are two flowers next to the house. They are yellow and blue. There is a big tree on the left. There is the sun in the sky and three birds.
Pupils should come to the desks, turn over the sheets of paper and put the words in the correct order to make up the sentences. The sentences are similar, so the points get that team which is quicker and correct.
My mother is watching TV now.
His father has breakfast at 8 o’clock.
Her sister could swim, when she was four.
Teacher names one letter from English alphabet, pupils should write the words beginning with this letter as more as they can.
