MADAME TUSSAUD’SAbout 7000 people a day stand in line in order to gaze at mute wax models turning Madame Tussaud’s into the top tourist attraction in London and beating the Tower into the second place .In 1993 the exhibition embraced audio –animatronics ,populating a new ‘Spirit of London ‘ ride with moving and speaking figures .Some of the wax models are really lifelike . All travel notes scolded Madame Tussaud’s Museum. Each argues that the wax figures are disgusting, have no relation to the art, that the visit to the museum is an empty waste of time. Since the authors are unanimous, we have to obey it. However, from time to time, I forgot their indignation, learning some figures , comparing them with the illustrations in textbooks, with movies, with paintings on historical themes. He managed to rule the country though he was mad. He was put on a straight jacket . It was not seen under the King’s robes. ELIZABETH I Queen Elizabeth I whose name has become a synonym for the era which she dominated (1558-1603) was born in 1533 to Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. She was the last of Tudor monarchs. She received an excellent classical education . People rejoiced when Elizabeth became queen after her elder sister Mary’s death in1558.People often called her Good Queen Bess . VICTORIAQueen Victoria was also popular in Europe. She became known as the Grandmother of Europe after marrying members of her family into many royal houses of Europe . Among her grandchildren were Emperor William II of Germany ,and Alexandra, wife of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia . From time to time the country is shocked by scandal, but Queen Elizabeth II serves her people. She dedicated her life to them.The royal family is worth the money they receive.
