Jim Carrey
James Eugene «Jim» Carrey (born January 17, 1962) is a Canadian American actor, comedian, and producer. Carrey has received four Golden Global Award nominations winning two. Know for his highly energetic slapstick performances, he has been described as one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood.
James was born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, to Kathleen, a homemaker, and Percy Carrey, a musician and accountant. He has three older siblings, John, Patricia and Rita. His family was poor.
James Carrey starred in the Mask, Ase Ventura, Dumb and Dumber, Mr. Propper’s Penguins, Kick-Ass 2.

Carrey has been married twice. His first marriage was to former actress and Comedy store waitress Melissa Womer, whom he married on March 28, 1987. They divorced in 1995. Their daughter Jane Erin Carrey was born September 6, 1987.


The second time Carrey married his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly, on September 23,1996; the marriage lasted less than a year.
