On the eve of Christmas children hang their stockings, so that Santa Claus could put presents into them: oranges, sweets, nuts and if the child didn't behave properly Santa Claus can put there a piece of coal as punishment.  Usually the whole family has a big Christmas dinner, which is distinguished by a plum-pudding dessert. The air is filled with the sounds of Christmas carols, the stores are decorated in red and green, and dozens of Santa Clauses are on the streets. In England people make Christmas pudding before Christmas. Everyone in family stirs the pudding and makes a wish. It’s a traditional meal, which people cook for Christmas party.
