Candles Bells Tinsel The British decorate the top of the tree with a star or an angel. The giving of presents is the most important Christmas tradition. Family members wrap up their gifts and put them around the tree to be found on Christmas morning. At Christmas everyone decorates their houses with holly and mistletoe.Holly is a green plant with red berries.Mistletoe is a greenplant with white berries. People often hang holly or mistletoe wreaths on the front doors. It`s a Christmas tradition for British people to kiss their friends and family under the mistletoe.
