DESCRIBING PEOPLEAims of the lesson: 1. To teach pupils to describe themselves and people, to enrich their vocabulary.
To develop their reading, writing, speaking, listening skills and grammar, lexical habits.To bring up pupils to be attentive, to write neatly and correctly, to foster their love for nature, for country and for people.Mixed lesson using the games.Methods: Explanation, answer-question, practical, demonstration, listening, work in pairs and work in group.
Aids of the lesson: Toy pets in the box, a tape-recorder, a CD, word cards, speech bubbles, pictures of the clothes, parts of the body and domestic animals.

4 . Listening.Pupils will listen to the Tape 24 and do ex .3 on page 38 (on the board).
. Game: Say the 5th word . (Calling the words on one theme ). E.g.: Clothes : shorts, T-shirt and etc.

There are two groups: the whites and the blacks. They have different tasks. E.g.: the whites will make positive sentences with "have " , the blacks - negative sentences with " haven't" .

. Competition of TV journalists.Pupils will speak about themselves on TV . The best speaker will be the winner of the competition and will be awarded a diploma.
. Game: Something has lost.
Showing pupils the toy pets. Г 11 ask them close their eyes and take out one of the toys .Pupils must guess what toy has lost.
