Урок 54. Развитие лексико-грамматических навыков.
Цели урока: 1. Активизация орфографических навыков.
2. Развитие навыков монологической речи по теме «Дорога в школу».
3. Формирование навыков аудирования и чтения.
Оборудование: задания на карточках по количеству учащихся (маршрут следования); изображения подростков и достопримечательностей англоговорящих стран.
Ход урокаОрганизационный моментGood morning, boys and girls (Good morning, Maria Petrov- na!)I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.) How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)
2. Речевая разминкаHelen, I'd like to ask you a question. (You are welcome. What would you like to ask me about?)
Do you go to school every day? (No, I don't. I don't go to school on Sunday.)
How long does it take you to get to school? (It takes me fifteen minutes to get to school.)
Kate, do you help your mother about the house? (Yes, I do. I help my mother about the house.)
How can you help your mother? (I go to the shop, wash up and wash the floor.)
How long does it take you to wash up in the evening? (It takes me half an hour to wash up in the evening.) Etc.
3. Активизация орфографических и фонетических навыков
We have learnt some words on the topic "On the Way to School". But can you write them? Look at the blackboard and find the mistakes in the following words. Then write down the words in your exercise-books. Who can correct all the mistakes in the words? Do you agree with Mike? Let's read the words all together. Запись на доске:

4. Развитие навыков монологической речи
You have drawn a map of our town at home. If you brought the plans from home, hold them up.
Примерные задания на карточках:
— from our school to the park;
— from the main square to the cafe;
— from the bridge to the monument; etc.
5.Формирование навыков аудированияIt's time to listen to some visitors from English-speaking countries. You will listen to carefully and fill in the table in exercise 27, page 67.
6. Активизация навыков диалогической речи— We shall work in pairs. The task for you is to interview your partner from an English-speaking country. You will ask your partner about his/her school subjects and timetable, teachers and classmates, hobbies and problems. You can see these topics in exercise 28, page 67. You will write the answers of your partner in the table.
7. Формирование навыков чтения— We usually like people with a good sense of humour. Do you like to read anecdotes? You can see two anecdotes in your textbooks, page 67, exercise 29. Each pupil will read one anecdote and tell it his/her partner.
III. Подведение итогов урока— Now you know how to meet the guests of our town an how to explain the way to them. Our lesson is over. That's all for today. Good-bye.
