Тема урока: «Ecological problems of the Black sea»
Тип урока: комбинированный, урок обобщения и применения знаний.
Оборудование: классная доска, компьютер с колонками, проектор, раздаточный материал.
Цели:
Учебные:
развитие умения прослушивания и понимания текста с целью извлечения конкретной информации;
развитие навыка использования новых лексических единиц в собственных высказываниях по теме; формирование грамматически правильной речи;
совершенствование навыков чтения.
Воспитательные:
воспитание потребности в практическом использовании языка;
воспитание уважительного отношения к природе и ответственного отношения к экологическим проблемам;
воспитание культуры общения.
Развивающие:
развитие практических навыков устной речи с извлечением информации из текста в необходимом объеме для решения конкретной речевой задачи с использованием различных технологий чтения;
развитие памяти, внимания, мышления, воображения;
развитие навыков взаимодействия и работы в паре/группе.
Познавательные:
поддержание интереса к изучению английского языка и формированию познавательной активности.

-You know, people all over the world are worried about our environment. I guess it's very important to think about the Earth and its ecology. Do you know about the ecological problems? (ответы учащихся)
-Do you know the ecological problems of our native town? What about the sea problems? (ответы учащихся)
-- Good. So, what do you think we are going to speak about today? (ответы учащихся)

We live on the Black sea coast, in Yalta. And do you know about the ecological problems of the Black sea?
Here are some of them.
The coastal cities pollute the sea waters.
Overfishing is one of the serious problems.
The rivers bring heavy metals, oil and other toxic components.
Coastal degradation is very active.
Waste of heavy industries brings chemical and radioactive poisons into the sea.
The Black sea beaches accumulate a lot of rubbish.
Effects are very serious.
Bad ecology has led to the extinction of 21 fish species, such as dolphins, pike, perch and bonito.
The structure of the Black sea ecosystem has changed because of waste from human activities.
What can be done?
Now there are a lot of projects how to protect the Black sea. All the nations in the Black sea coast must monitor and control industrial and agricultural waste. It’s important to control the fishing industry. People should use new safe technologies to purify water.Listen one more time and then we’ll discuss what ecological problems are mentioned in the text?
