Essay “My grandfather”
I want to tell you about my grandfather Gubaydullin Badredtin who was born in 1923 in the village Novomussino of Kuyurgazinsky District. He was drafted in the 10th form and sent to the 108th Voronezh infantry division near Voronezh in the village of Podgorny. At this time there where fierce battles there . During the attack a mine dropped near him and hurt my grandfather’s leg.The wound was not fatal , but he was caught by the machine-gun fire. That was the end of my grandfather. He was buried in a mass grave in the village Podgorny in 1942 . Though he lived a short life, but he played a great role in the Victory. We remember him and we are very proud of him.
