Задача: уметь активизировать навыки извлечения необходимой информации из предложенного текста.
Форма выполнения задания: индивидуальная.
Задание: детям предлагается текст по теме «My day», им необходимо составить распорядок дня героя, опираясь на текст.
My name is Ivan. I’m ten years old. I study in the 5th form of the state secondary school 80. I attend school six days a week. Saturday is the only weekend that I have. My day usually starts at 7.30 (half past seven) am. That’s when I wake up, but I don’t get up until 7.45 (quarter to eight). Then I brush my teeth and have a shower. After that I wear my school uniform and have a quick breakfast in the kitchen. My mum makes a sandwich for me and a cup of tea. Then I quickly leave for school. Luckily, I live 5 minutes away from school so I’m almost never late. My classes usually start at 8.30 (half past eight). My lessons finish at about 1 or 2 pm. When I come back home I have my lunch and take a short rest. After that I do my homework for tomorrow. Then I’m allowed to watch my favorite shows, play computer games or go for a walk with my friends. On Wednesdays and Fridays I go to the swimming-pool. And on Tuesdays and Thursdays I attend martial arts. So that leaves little free time for anything else. Saturdays are freer. We only have four lessons on these days and I don’t attend any sections. I go to bed at about ten o'clock, but my parents like to sit up late and write letters or read.

Задание: прочитать данный текст, перевести его. Далее необходимо придумать продолжение данного текста и придумать заглавие своему получившемуся тексту.
Once a rich Englishwoman called Mrs. Johnson decided to have a birthday party. She invited a lot of guests and a singer. The singer was poor, but he had a very good voice.The singer got to Mrs. Johnson’s house at exactly six o’clock, but when he went in, he saw through a door that the dining-room was already full of guests, who were sitting round a big table in the middle of the room. The guests were eating, joking, laughing, and talking loudly. Mrs. Johnson came out to him, and he thought she was going to ask him to join them, when she said, «We’re glad, sir, that you have come. You will be singing after dinner, I’ll call you as soon as we’re ready to listen to you. Now will you go into the kitchen and have dinner too, please.»The singer was very angry, but said nothing. At first he wanted to leave Mrs Johnson’s house at once, but then he changed his mind and decided to stay and teach her and her rich guests a good lesson. When the singer went into the kitchen, the servants were having dinner, too. He joined them. After dinner, the singer thanked everybody and said, «Well, now I’m going to sing to you, my good friends. » And he sang them some of his songs.
Soon Mrs. Johnson called the singer.«Well, sir, we are ready. »«Ready? » asked the singer. «What are you ready for? »«To listen to you, » said Mrs. Johnson in an angry voice…
