Nursultan A. Nazarbayev
N.A. Nazarbayev was born on the 6th of July, in 1940 in Chemolgan village, Kaskelen district, Almaty region. His father was a poor labourer. Nursultan tried to help his father in everything. At home, in the garden and he helped his father grow potatoes and apples. Nursultan caring for the cattle, along with his father mowed the hay in the mountains. At the end of World War II the family returned to the village of Chemolgan, and Nazarbayev began to learn the Russian language. He studied well at school, and was sent to a boarding school in  HYPERLINK "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaskelen" \o "Kaskelen" Kaskelen. After leaving school he worked a one-year, government-funded scholarship at the Karaganda Steel Mill in Temirtau. 1967 – graduated from technical institution of higher education attached to Karaganda metallurgical industrial complex. 
December, 1991 – Nursultan Nazarbayev becomes the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1991 Kazakhstan declared its independence.
He is the chairman of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan.
