Тема: Ты любишь телевикторины?
Цели: развитие навыков аудирования; активизация грамматических навыков: структура «глагол + ing».
Ход урока
I.Организационный момент
—Today you will listen and watch much. We are going to revise some grammar and learn to use it in your speech.
II. Фонетическая разминка
—Begin with the tongue twister. Look at the blackboard. Listen to my reading.

When a twister twisting would twist him a twist, For twisting a twist three twists he will twist; But if one of the twists untwists from the twist, The twist untwisting untwists the twist.
—Translate it. Read the tongue twister slowly after me. Train reading it in pairs. Then read the tongue twister in a natural manner. And then try to read it as quickly as you can. What sounds do you hearmore often? ([t],[w], [i], [s],[r)].)
—Name other words with these sounds.

[s] — space, spaceship, save, spacesuit, star, etc.

III. Речевая разминка
— Look at your cards. Read the definitions and say what it is.

A short informative film describing and praising some product.
A serial about people's relationships especially love and friendship.
A film about nature or a historical event with real people in it.
A TV programme where people discuss a problem.
The media with the help of which people communicate with each other or can find the necessary information.
New information about sports presented in a short TV programme.
A programme about weather.
An intellectual programme with a lot of questions on different topics.
Один ученик отвечает, остальные соглашаются или не соглашаются с ним, используя выражения «Yes, she/he is right», «I’m afraid she/he is not right».
IV. Обучение речи
Do you like quizzes? Is it difficult to answer the questions? Listen to the dialogue where the speakers answer the questions of a quiz. Listen to it and say what the fourth question was. {The fourthquestion was "Do you like salad?")
Open your books at p. 69, ex. 28. Listen and read the dialogue.
Now work in pairs. Make up a dialogue. Start with the questions in ex. 29, p. 69. Change the first dialogue to make your own one. Act it out. Listen to your classmates and say which dialogue youlike most.

Sit in groups of three. Read your sentences to each other. Choose the only variant of each sentence that you find the most interesting and read it to the class.
Learn to use the structure. Watch the video. Complete the dialog in ex. 32, p. 69. Before you do it try to guess the answers.
Keys:
Do you like working? Yes, 1 do. I like the Royal Family very much. Do you like opera? No, I don't. I'm a very nice person. No, you're not.
What kind of a person is Martin? What about you? Are you a good person? Do you like quizzes? What do you think of them?
