Підтема: Минуле та сьогодення міста Києва.
Мета:
навчальна: ввести та активізувати у вживанні нові лексичні одиниці; формувати навички читання, аудіювання, діалогічного мовлення і письма; удосконалювати компетенції читання, аудіювання та усного мовлення;
розвиваюча: розвивати мовну здогадку і мовленнєву реакцію, усні комунікативні уміння з опорою на наочність, соціокультурну компетенцію; навчати уважно стежити за презентованою інформацією;
виховна: виховувати почуття патріотизму до малої батьківщини; уміння сконцентруватися, слухати інших, формувати доброзичливу атмосферу в класі; виховувати загальну культуру учнів, толерантність один до одного; заохочувати зацікавленість до вивчення англійської мови.
Тип уроку: комбінований.

Teacher: We are going to speak about Kyiv in the past and now. You know Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. It is situated on both banks of the river Dnipro. It is a very green city.
