The aim of the lesson:
Make students pay attention to the articles in the newspapers, magazines and Internet websites therefore students will be able to get an understanding of their importance
SWBAT:
Discuss various topics in the articles
Read and identify the style of articles
Participate in a game
Sing a song
Make a project work (write an article about our school)
Share their opinions about articles and news written there
Resources used:
A computer, some articles in English, newspapers, catalogues a textbook
The procedure of the lesson:
Organization moment; greeting, checking attendance, warm-up exercise, dividing the class into two groups, introduction of a new theme and the aims of the lesson

Good morning, dear students! I am glad to see you today. How are you doing?

We are going to work in two groups so choose the paper and there will be students of formal and informal style. 3 min.
Today we are going to talk about media in our life. Moreover, could you answer the following questions?
What is mass Media?
What exactly comes to your mind when you hear the word Media?
How important are newspapers nowadays? Do you read them?
How do you usually get news? What news are you mostly interested in?
