Today we shall continue to discuss the topic “World Youth Games”.
Совершенствование орфографических навыков
The first task for you is to guess the words on the cards. Учитель привлекает внимание учащихся к словам, записанным на карточках. Задание для учащихся: поставить буквы в словах в правильном порядке, чтобы получились названия профессий. Учитель готовит задание на карточках в двух вариантах. В конце данного этапа урока к доске вызываются два учащихся для записи слов на английском и русском языках с целью проверки. Затем все ученики читают слова хором и индивидуально.

Ученики читают шепотом текст из упр. 78, стр. 118 из учебника. Время чтения — 4 минуты. По истечении данного времени ученики отвечают на вопрос «Какие факты из текста были новыми для тебя?». Учащиеся могут зачитывать предложения из текста для ответа на данный вопрос.
Активизация навыков диалогической речи
Use the information from the text and write questions for these answers. You can see the answers in exercise 79, page 119 in your textbook. Work in pairs and write down the questions in your exercise-books.
Ученики делятся на пары для выполнения упр. 79, стр. 119. Данное упражнение выполняется учениками в письменнойУчитель может распределить задание между парами (например, одна пара учащихся составляет 4-6 вопросов). Перед физкультминуткой пары учащихся по очереди зачитывают составленные вопросы.

Развитие навыков письменной речи на материале прочитанного текста
Let’s learn to make notes. You can see the example in exercise 80, page 119 in your textbook. Use the information from the text, make notes under the headings and write them down in your exercise-books. Who has finished? Kate will go to the blackboard.
Учитель предлагает ученикам прочитать задание и образец из упр. 80, стр. 119 из учебника. Данное упражнение выполняется в письменной форме. Ученик, выполнивший задание первым, выходит к доске и записывает свой вариант данного задания. Затем все ученики проверяют ответы на доске.
Совершенствование навыков чтения
Championships and competitions are held in different countries. The international competitions and the Olympic Games often have their own symbols. Let’s put the parts of the text in the correct order and find out new information about Mishut- ka mascot.
Учитель организует выполнение упр. 80, стр. 119 из учебника. Задание для учащихся — поставить части текста в логическом порядке. После чтения частей текста в правильном порядке учитель побуждает детей ответить на вопросы, используя информацию из текста.
