Конспект урока по английскому языку
для 6 класса.
Тема: Что? Где? Когда? Всемирные рекорды!Цель:
Повторить лексику по разным темам.
Повторить степени сравнения прилагательных.
Научить обучающихся использовать свои знания, чувство языка и логику.
Тренировать в высказывании своих мыслей.
Научить правилам поведения во время игры.
Развивать познавательный интерес, память, внимание.
Оборудование: карточки с заданиями
Ход урока
Организационный момент
Приветствие.
Учитель приветствует класс, учащиеся, в свою очередь, приветствуют учителя. Беседа с обучающимися.
У.: Do you like to play team games? What team games do you know?
Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы.
Объявление темы и целей урока.
Today we’re going to speak about world’s records. And we’re going to play a game ,,What? Where? When?”.Основная часть урока
Подготовка к игре.
Правила игры:
Учащиеся работают в группах
Каждая группа должна выслушать ответ другой группы
Каждая группа может дополнить ответ другой группы
Учащиеся не имеют права перебивать других
Учащиеся могут давать короткие ответы
Если команда дает неправильные ответ, должна ответить другая команда
Если правильный ответ не прозвучал, его должен озвучить ведущий
За каждый правильный ответ команда получает 5 баллов. Если команда может дать дополнительную информацию, она получает еще 5 баллов
Проведение игры.
Обучающиеся делятся на две группы : ,,Orange” & ,,Blue”. Каждая группа по результатам жеребьевки называет номер вопроса на которые она будет отвечать (от 1 до 30) и так в порядке очереди.
Ведущий вслух зачитывает вопрос. У команды есть полминуты на ответ.
Во время игры обучающиеся повторяют разные темы.

How long is Nile? The world’s longest river the Nile is 6.670 km.
What is the largest desert? The Sahara Desert. It is 9 million square km.
What is largest ocean in the world? The Pacific Ocean. It covers nearly half of the world.

Where is the wettest place in the world? In Colombia, South America.
What pattern has a snowflake? Different patterns.
What is the weather like in Antarctica? It is the coldest place on the Earth. It is windy.
What is whipped up by tornadoes? The highest winds.
How big are the heaviest hailstones? They can weigh nearly 1 kg.
The Universe
How high can you jump on the Moon? 4 or 5 high and 8 m long because gravity on the Moon is about one sixth that on the Earth.
When did the first people land on the Moon? In 1969 Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed on the Moon.
What is the smallest planet? The Mercury, the first planet in the Solar system.
What is the hottest planet? The Venus, the second planet in the Solar system. The temperature rises to 460°C
What are the coldest planets in the Solar System? The Neptune and Pluto.

Подведение итогов: каждая команда подсчитывает баллы, после чего определяем победителя.
Домашнее задание: учащиеся должны подготовить 5 вопросов о всемирных рекордах. На следующем уроке проводится небольшой брейн ринг, во время которого, ребята задают друг другу свои вопросы.
