Игра-соревнование по английскому языку «Hobbies»

Цели:
Повышение мотивации к изучению предмета «Иностранный язык»;
Обобщение и закрепление пройденного материала по теме «Hobbies»;
Развитие творческих способностей обучающихся и повышение интереса к изучаемому языку.
 Жюри: преподаватели английского языка.
Предварительная подготовка: создание проектов «Мир  увлечений нашей группы».
Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, видеофильм, презентации, раздаточный материал.
Ход игры:
Вступление: приветствие, представление жюри и участников, постановка цели мероприятия.
  Good afternoon, dear friends. Good afternoon, dear guests. Today we’re
having a contest of four teams. They want to know who is better at English.
   Let me introduce our adjudicators: … .   We’ve just studied the topic «Hobbies».
Разминка. (Warming up.)
   Teacher. (T.) What hobbies can people have? 
   Pupils. (P.) (give various answers)
   T.  To start with let’s watch a short film about popular activities in the
   United Kingdom. Remember as many of them as you can. Let us watch and find out, who is right. What is the most popular activity of the British at home?

      T. There are two cards on the board: one card with names of hobbies and  another one with names of different things. Match the things and the hobbies  to find pairs.

 Each team draws out a topic (one of hobbies) and makes up a story on it.
The first pupil makes up the first sentence, the next one repeats it and adds one more, the third pupil repeats these two sentences and adds one more…
