Конспект открытого урока по английскому языку в 7-м гуманитарно-филологическом классе по теме «Спорт»
Цель урока: совершенствование лексических навыков
Задачи образовательные: знать лексику по теме «Спорт», уметь правильно читать и произносить новые ЛЕ, самостоятельно выполнять лексические упражнения, составлять словосочетания, предлжения и короткие высказывания по предлженной ситуации, уметь правильно писать слова по теме, совершенствовать навыки написания письма личного характера.
Задачи развивающие: уметь классифицировать лексику по подтемам, догадываться о значении неизвестных слов, анализировать структуру предложений в связном тексте при заполнении пропусков, высказываться последоввательно и логично, аргументировать свое мнение.
Задачи воспитательные: воспитывать интерес к занятиям спортом, привычку к здоровому образу жизни.
Оборудование: электронная презентация по теме, индивидуальный радаточный материал (карточки с текстами для заполнения пропусков, тексты для чтения – письмо), аудиомагнитофон

2. Warm-up Look at the photos in the presentation and say what we’re going to speak about?
Why are we going to speak about sport? (Students share their ideas)
To be exact we’ll learn to speak about your favourite sports. For this you have to know new words, look at the pictures again and I’d like you to label them. (What kinds of sports are they? – S1 is writing the names of sport on the board, the rest of the class in their exersice books. Then check up)
Let’s remember how to pronounce the words
Which sports are developed in Britain? Which sports are popular with Russian people?What sport would you like to do? Why? What sport have you ever gone in for?Which of them do you find dangerous (exotic, most common, boring, etc.)? What kinds of sport are practised in you school? Introduce problem questions

3.Vocabulary People go to different places to play sports. Look at the list of words and pick out the right words to tell where people go in for sport. (Ss are given the list of words and read out them)
Match the places and sports now. Checking up according to the pattern. (… is practised in / at / on …)
What equipment is required for doing sport? Read the words and say in which sport or game all the words can be used? (See SB p. 42) Revise the topical vocabulary Individual

4. Speaking Now then you know all the words well let’s sum up. Say a few words about any sport without mentionning it using the given outline. (the plan is written on the board)
Listen to your classmate and guess the name of sport. Practise speaking and listening for detail Whole class
5. Having a rest To have a rest let’s do exersices to music 6. Reading Everyone has his own favourite sport. Who is the greatest football lover? (tennis lover) I’d like you to know more information about these sports. To understand it it is necessary to fill in the gaps with proper words. (Teacher is giving out the cards with texts and suggest working in groups)
Choose one person from each group to write your answers on the board.
Choose a speaker and tell the other goup what new things you’ve learnt about you r favourite sport

7. Writing Not long ago I received a letter from a British girl. She is writing about her favourite sport. I want you to read it and write her back about your favourite one. (Teacher is asking a student togive out letters, SB ex. P. )

(Students offer their variants of letters. “ I would write about … because … . Besides it is necessary to mention … )

8. The end of the lesson Today you have revised the vocabulary for sport. What else have you learnt to do?
What is your greatest wish connected with your favourite sport? Try to justify your opinions and start your sentences with the phrases:
