«Телевидение как средство массовой информации».

“Spotlight-7”
Цели и задачи урока.
Цель урока: обобщение знаний по теме «Телевидение», развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков, творческих способностей учащихся.
Задачи:
1.Образовательная: активизация изученной лексики, применение полученных знаний в новой учебной ситуации.
2.Развивающая: развитие умения грамотно строить высказывания, спонтанно реагировать на речь собеседника, творчески преподносить имеющуюся информацию, анализировать и обобщать её, расширять эрудицию учащихся, развивать познавательный интерес.
3.Воспитательная: воспитание культуры общения, умения работать в команде, в паре, отвечать за принятые решения.
4.Практическая: развитие умения ориентироваться в изученном материале и применять знания на практике, строить монологические высказывания, грамматически правильно оформлять речь, воспринимать речь на слух, логически мыслить и аргументировать свою точку зрения.

Ход урока.
1.Разминка.
а)Учитель спрашивает детей, какие телепередачи они знают. Дети должны назвать разные виды программ.
-What types of TV programmes do you know?
Suggested answers:
chat-show
quiz-show
news
advertisements
concerts
reality shows
weather reports
films (soap-operas)
documentaries
TV debates
game-shows, etc.
б)Учитель открывает записи, сделанные на доске, учащиеся сравнивают свои ответы с имеющейся информацией. В случае необходимости добавляют недостающие передачи к списку.
2. Аудирование. Звучат отрывки из телепередач(game-show, the news, chat-show, soap-opera, documentary), ученики должны определить, что это за передачи и объяснить, почему они так думают.
3. Игра-угадайка (a guessing-game) на отработку грамматических структур в недавно изученном времени Past continuous ( построение вопросов и кратких ответов).
-Try and guess what TV programme I was watching yesterday evening. The person, who guesses right, takes my place.
For example:
-Were you watching a game-show?
- Yes, I was./No, I wasn’t.
4.Презентация проектного продукта - программы новостей (проверка домашнего задания).Учащиеся на предыдущем уроке создавали свою программу новостей по определённому направлению. Работа была организована в группах, дети определились в процессе дискуссии с названием передачи, информационной направленностью (новости моды, катастрофы, криминальные новости), ведущими и содержанием программы. Дома они должны были подготовить компьютерную презентацию, чтобы проиллюстрировать свою передачу.
What TV programme is the most informative?
-The news.
-Now we are going to watch different news programmes. After watching them, tell us what they were about.
Выступление групп учащихся, обсуждение содержания программ. Один учащийся сообщает новость, другой на неё реагирует.
Варианты ответов:
Student 1:
-Have you heard/Do you know that?
Student 2:
- Oh, how awful!/-Wow! What a story!
The teacher:
Have you heard that this lesson we’re going to watch TV?
Children:
- Really?
7. Просмотр видеосюжета. Учащимся предлагается просмотреть документальный фильм о Лондонском Тауэре (примерно 3 минуты).Дети делятся на группы, каждая из которых получает своё задание на проверку понимания содержания сюжета. Перед просмотром сюжета на доске выписываются новые ключевые слова:
Guards regiment - гвардейский полк
bugle /bju:gl/- горн
impress - впечатлять
invade – завоёвывать
sword /so:d/ – меч, сабля
contain - содержать
После просмотра сюжета проводится проверка понимания:

8.Подведение итогов. Учащимся предлагается в группах обсудить, почему телевидение - важное средство массовой информации. Из имеющихся причин их просят выбрать 5 наиболее значимых.
