Обучающие цели: познакомить с достопримечательностями Лондона, обучить чтению слов по данной теме; по лексике – активизировать новый лексический материал по данной теме;
Развивающие цели: говорение – развивать диалогическую речь; письмо - развивать умения применять новые знания, использовать обучающий тест; чтение – развивать навыки чтения новых слов.
Воспитывающие цели: воспитывать уважение к культуре другой страны и обучать работать самостоятельно на компьютере.
Оборудование: компьютеры, карточки со звуками, компьютерные презентации грамматического материала и письма английских друзей.
ПЛАН УРОКА.
Организационный часть.
Приветствие.
Good morning, children! You are welcome to an English lesson. I am glad to see you. How are you? Sit down, please. I hope you are ready for the lesson.

Основная часть урока.
Let’s start our lesson. (Проговаривается тема, цель и план урока)
Topic of first lesson “London is the capital of UK” from the unit “Learning more about London”. Today we shall have a talk about the capital of the UK and listen to a new dialogue.
Фонетическая зарядка.
We shall start our lesson with the English sounds. Open your books at p. 61 ex.2 , listen, repeat and read. Ученики слушают слова с определенными звуками, и во время пауз повторяют. Затем учитель организует чтение хором и индивидуально.
Речевая зарядка.
Well done. Boys and girls, a postman has brought the letter to us. But we have to do the task. Look at the cards, read them, put the verbs in Present Continuous and make the sentences. Ребята почтальон принес нам письмо, но он отдаст нам только в том случае, если мы выполним его задание.
Учитель показывает учащимся карточки с глаголами в первой форме. Учащиеся должны прочитать слово на карточке, и составить предложения в Present Continuous, используя различные местоимения. Глаголы на карточках: read, go, write, look, listen, sit. Примерные ответы детей:
We are sitting at the lesson now.
I am reading the task.
My mother is going to the shop at this moment.
После выполнения задания учитель зачитывает письмо.

Введение нового материала.
Let's listen to the words on the topic «London». Can you guess their meaning? (textbook - page 65, exercise 15). Read these words after the speaker.
Now we are going on a tour around London. Be attentive and remember the famous places! (презентация в режиме Power Point «Тур по Лондону»)
I want you to open your books, page 65, exercise 16. Let's match the postcards with the texts describing the places of interest. You'll have 4 minutes to do this task. Then we shall check it up all together.

Развитие навыков аудирования
I want you to listen to the dialogue. The boy and the girl are having a talk about London. Listen to the dialogue and find out what the girl brought from the UK for Oleg and his friends.
Учитель предлагает учащимся прослушать диалог из упр. 1, с. 60-61 из учебника. Во время прослушивания диалога учебники учащихся должны быть закрыты. Задание для учащихся: прослушать диалог и выяснить, что она привезла из Великобритании для Олега и его друзей.
- Can you answer the question now? What did Liza bring for Oleg and his friends? (She brought some letters for him.) Now open your books, page 60, exercise 1.
Обучение вопросно-ответной работе на материале диалога
Look through the dialogue and answer my questions.
Учащиеся открывают учебники, с. 60-62, упр. 1, читают диалог вслух и отвечают на следующие вопросы учителя по содержанию диалога.
Вопросы учителя:
What country is Liza from? (She is from Great Britain.)
How long will she stay in Russia? (She will stay in Russia for two days.)
Does she like Moscow? (Yes, she does. She likes Moscow.)
Does Liza think that Moscow is different from London? (Yes, she does. She thinks Moscow is different from London.)
Has Oleg been to London? (No, he hasn't. He hasn't been to London.)
Does Liza like London? How can you prove if? (She likes London. She says it's one of the most famous and interesting cities in Europe. Liza says London is one of her favourite cities.)
What places can a person visit in London? (There are a lot of places to visit in London: museums, art galleries, theatres, cinemas, parks and stadiums.)
Does Liza live in London? (No, she doesn't. She lives not far from London.)
Prepare good reading of this dialogue at home. We shall read it in pairs at the next lesson.

Dear Russian Friends!
My name’s Johny Atkins. My best Friends are Leon and Steve. They are really nice and reliable. We have many of the same hobbies. Our hobbies are listening to music, playing sport games and telling secrets.
We live in London. It’s one of the most famous and interesting cities in Europe. There are lots of places to visit in London: museums, Art galleries, theatres. As you probably know it’s the capital of the UK. It’s a mixture of old and new building and there is a lot to see and learn about.
