Сценарий внеклассного мероприятия «Mother's Day»
Формы обучения: индивидуальная, групповая, фронтальная
Цели:
образовательные:
а) совершенствование лексических и грамматических навыков аудирования, говорения, письма;
б) активизация в монологической и диалогической речи учащихся лексики и
грамматики по теме;
развивающие:
а) активизация творческих способностей учащихся через размышление, выражение своего мнения;
б) развитие познавательной и коммуникативной деятельности учащихся, расширение их кругозора;
в) формирование мотивации и устойчивого интереса к изучению иностранного языка;
воспитательные:
а) воспитание любви и уважения к матери;
б) воспитание коммуникативной культуры.
Формирование УУД:
личностные: проявление творческой инициативы;регулятивные: целеполагание, планирование, прогнозирование, оценка, рефлексия;
познавательные: анализ объектов с целью выделения признаков, решение
учебных проблем в групповой деятельности, умение осознанно строить речевое
высказывание.
Планируемые результаты внеклассного мероприятия:
предметные: активизация словарного запаса и грамматических навыков в диалогической и монологической речи учащихся; развитие умений воспринимать на слух и отвечать на поставленные вопросы, распознавать и употреблять в речи изученные лексические единицы; повышение качества аудирования и говорения;
метапредметные: получат развитие способности к слуховой дифференциации, навыки речевого общения, умения принимать и сохранять цели и задачи
учебной деятельности, находить средства ее осуществления; пользоваться
наглядными средствами предъявления языкового материала; учащиеся получат возможность научиться целеполаганию, прогнозированию, оценке, рефлексии;
повысится мотивация и интерес к изучению иностранного языка;
личностные: будет формироваться уважительное отношение к матери; учащиеся получат возможность проявить творческую инициативу в командном взаимодействии; получат развитие эстетические чувства, доброжелательность и эмоционально-нравственная отзывчивость, понимание и сопереживание.
Оснащение урока: проектор, экран, записи MP3 песен «Солнечный круг», из мультфильма «Мама для мамонтенка», презентация, видео мультфильма «Мама для мамонтенка» на английском языке, реквизиты для сценки (фартук, тапочки, кружка, дневник с двойкой), конфеты для конкурса.

Ход мероприятия
Pupil 1: Good morning, dear guests !Pupil 2: We are very glad to see you.
Pupil 1: Beauty, woman, flowers, Mother! There're not so many days in the year when we pronounce these pleasant words!
Pupil 2: Today, you have an excellent chance to plunge into the atmosphere of love.
Pupil 1: Each of you has a mother!
Pupil 2: This party is dedicated to them.
Pupil 1: We hope you will enjoy our party.
Pupil 3 At first We would like to tell you how people celebrate Mother’s Day all over the world, but be attentive at the end of our story we are going to do quiz with special presents!!! Different countries celebrate Mother’s Day on various days of the year. Today Mother’s Day is celebrated in more than 46 countries at different times in the month of May, in some countries it is celebrated in March.

On the second Sunday in May, American children of all ages treat their mothers to something special. It is the one day out of the year when children, young and old, try to show in a tangible way how much they appreciate their mothers.
On Mother's Day morning some American children follow the tradition of serving their mothers breakfast in bed.

Mothering Sunday is celebrated in the United Kingdom
on the fourth Sunday of the Lenten Season. In England, Mothering Sunday has a church-based origin. Historically, children would give their mothers small gifts on Mothering Sunday-usually wild flowers they picked on the way to church.
Today, much like in the American version of Mother's Day, children give presents, flowers, and cards to their mums.

In Australia Mother’s Day is marked with pleasure. The Australian Mother’s Day coincides with the American. It is spent on the second Sunday of May and celebrated very similar. Australians express sincere gratitude and love to their mothers.

In Russia Mother’s day is celebrated since 1998.
This holiday in Russia is marked on the last Sunday of November.
The holiday’s purpose is to maintain traditions of the careful relations to the woman and to fix family foundations.

In different countries this day is marked on various dates. Basically in the world Mother’s Day is celebrated every second Sunday of May.

Все это время ее брат сидел и ничего не делал, а только играл на компьютере. Вдруг звонок в дверь. Это пришла мама с работы. Девочка бежит открывать дверь:
- Mummy, I’m glad to see you! How are you? Are you tired?
- Hello, my dear! Yes, I’m tired.
- Give me your bag, mummy. Take off your coat. Here are your slippers.
- Thank you, dear! (удивленно) What a clean flat we’ve got today!
- Sit here. I’ll bring you tea with honey.
- Thank you, my daughter! (еще более удивленно)
Мама выпила чай и спрашивает:
- And where’s your brother?
- He’s playing computer games in his room.
Они идут в его комнату. Мама говорит:
- You’re doing nothing again! Look at your sister! She’ s cleaned all the flat today!
And you?!
-But it’s not me who’s got a two today! Мальчик показывает дневник своей сестры, в котором красуется жирная двойка. Мама открыла рот от удивления, а девочка, схватив голову двумя руками, побежала вон из комнаты.
Сценка окончена. Дети кланяются, а затем «мама» говорит:
-Children, I hope that you help your mother not only when you’ve got a two at school!
Pupil 5 In my childhood, I used to watch a cartoon How Little Mammoth Found His Mother. It was my lovely cartoon.
Pupil 6 I like it too. I propose to revise our memory and watch this cartoon into English. We have prepared the translation of this lovely cartoon about Little Mammoth and his Mother.

She knows a lot about the surrounding world.
-My mom’s name is Olga Petrovna. She has 3 children. She is a devoted mother. Her
hobby is gardening. She has a green thumb.
-My mom is the best in the world. She is very kind and tender. She helps me in studies.
