Приложение 1
O, my peaceful motherland!
Nightingales, willows and streams,
Mother's regrettable funeral,
That, all my life, I have seen.
- Tell me the way to the cemetery.
I by myself cannot find.
Countrymen answered me, whispering:
It's on the opposite side.
Countrymen answered willingly,
Softly passed by string of carts,
Church cloister dome, vividly,
Grown with bright-coloured grass.
Places, I swam for fish to hook,
Now have many hay stacks
There between those river crooks
Dug was canal in a crack.
Slimy and boggy is river band,
Where I liked swimming. As yet!
Oh, my peaceful motherland!
Nothing I cannot forget.
Ther's a new fence in front of school,
Green scope's the same, wide and fine.
Like a crow so cheerful
Right on the fence I shall climb.
Oh, my school! Wooden school of mine!
Time will approach to leave –
And behind me foggy river line
Will, from myself, flee and flee.
With every hut, heavy cloudness
And thunder, ready to fall,
I feel the link so boundless,
Scalding and mortal in all.

Приложение 3
Lovely dahlias of mine die of cold.
Final nights, that approach, are dense.
On the clods of the yellow loam
Flower-petals fly over the fence...
No, no - You don't say so! –
Lone trip star will not make me glad.
Passing by planes of mine did go,
Trains of mine whistled, making me sad.
And already my steamers have hooted,
And already my waggons have creaked, -
Stormy days made me come and deluded.
Will you give me some water to drink?
I can't break those everyday fetters,
With the burning eyes can't dash away
Into Puygachev's open prairies,
Where the rebel's soul roamed one day.
I can't break agonizing connections
With terrestrial long autumn gold,
With the tree by horse lines so dampish,
With the cranes in the skies so cold...
But I love you in days of bad weather
And the only thing I wish you
So that all your ships hoot forever,
So that all your trains whistle anew!
(Посвящение другу)
A star of fields in darkness so hazy,
Into polynia's looking, stopping trip.
It's twelve already. Dream has come embracing
My native land by deepest sleepy grip...
The star of fields! In time of shocks and cold
I recollected it behind the hall.
It's shining softly above autumn gold,
It's shining over winter silver pall...
The star of fields! It shines without dying
For every worried dweller of the Earth.
Its greeting friendly beam is always touching
The rising towns to give them second birth.
But here in my land so cold and hazy
Its rise is getting brighter, more complete.
In this wide world I shall be happy, crazy
Until, by shining star, my fields are lit.
(Звезда полей)
------------------------------------
When soil of mine will get
A quiet calm resting down
The sky sends it to me
When clouds are in breeze/
When soil of minе will bow
To herbs that leaving town
And going to doze
To shadows of trees,
When soil of mine just feels
Great holiness of land,
A river just reflects
The clouds of the sky,
I feel a low spirit
I have not any friend,
I wish I weren’t alone
And you were nearby.
(В глуши) From the poplars leaves have flown away,
Inescapability repeated.
Do not cry for leaves in any way,
Cry for love and tenderness frostbitten.
Let the poplars now naked stand.
Do not curse the noisy storms of snow.
Nobody is to blame, my friend,
That off poplars all dead leaves have flown.
(Улетели листья с тополей)
------------------------------------
Full of light is room of mine.
Light is coming from afar.
So brightly heavens shine
Twinkling with a bright night star.
Keeping silence all the time
Dear mother takes a pail.
Stars above still brighter shine
And the water tastes like ale.
Dark-red flowers of mine
In my garden all did die.
And in low waters' clime
Soon the boat will rot and die...
Shadow from willow, like lace,
Slumbers softly on my wall.
Tomorrow's day, I'll face,
Will be troublesome all-in-all.
I'll be constructing canoe.
Till night star arises at noon
I shall water flowers too
Thinking of my own doom.
