Форма урока: Урок-путешествие- обобщение знаний по темам: Казахстан и Великобритания.
Цели: Образовательные:
Знакомство учащихся со страной изучаемого языка- Великобританией, со столицей Лондоном, достопримечательностями. Знакомство со страной, где мы родились и живём- Казахстаном, столицей Астаной, достопримечательностями.
Выработать умение работать в группах, парах.
Углубить знания о Великобритании, Лондоне, Казахстане, Астане.
Научить применять полученные знания в Жизни, на практике.
Закрепить страноведческие знания.
Практиковать учащихся в монологической речи.
Развивающие:
Развивать память, мышление, языковую догадку, творческую фантазию учащихся в процессе речевой деятельности.
Обогащать словарный запас учащихся.
Развивать умение выделять главное.

Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan. Astana (the former Akmola) was founded in 1830 as a fortification of Russia Empire. Astana is a modern growing city, a political, financial, economic, scientific, cultural centre of the state. There are a lot of beautiful buildings, schools, educational establishments, hotels, banks. There are many places of interest in Astana: the Central square, the Republic Avenue, the palace of Youth and the Bridge across the Ishim River, the Reginal Museum of Fine Arts and others. From everywhere you can see Baiterek, the symbol of prosperity and happiness.
London is the capital of Great Britain. It is one of the largest cities in the world. Its population is about 8 million people. London is situated on the river Thames. Traditionally London is divided into several parts: the City, Westminster, the West End and the East End. The City is the heart of London. It is the financial centre of the UK, with many banks, offices. The City is a market for goods from all parts of the world. Westminster is the historic centre of government. The West End is the richest and most beautiful part of London. The best hotels, shops, restaurants, theatres are situated here. Oxford Street is the endless shopping street.
The East End is the poorest part of London. There are a lot of factories and docks here. The East End is populated by working class families. There are many places of interest in London: Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, The Saint Paul’s Cathedral, The Trafalgar Square, The Nelson’s Column, The Regent’s Park and others.
