I. Greeting. Explaining the theme and the aims.
1. Демонстрация ролика о природных катастрофах, исчезающих животных.
2. Ecology is the science of how the living things are related to their environment. The crucial problem of environment protection has been recognized as a problem too big for any nation to solve. It’s impossible to solve it unless many people join hands. Effective measures require global information. We have to start the mass world movement for the survival of the Earth to cure the environmental ills that are among the most vital problems of our age. Some things have been done in this direction, but much more will have to be done by your generation. As you see, today we are going to speak about ecological problems and the ways how to solve them at our parliamentary debates. All of you got your roles and were to make a project on this theme. Our goal today is to try to define the problems of the environment and to try to find the solution to them.
II. Warm up.
Before we start the debates, I’d like to tune you to the problem. You can see the quotation on the board. Will you tell me how you understand it? Ss. give their answers.
